The mission of PURE I.M.AG.E.S. Inc. is to Educate, Enlighten, Encourage, & Empower our young girls to become independent women, in collaboration with their families and community, to give them an opportunity to succeed or fail in a loving and stable environment with the support of peers and elders.
The “butterfly” which is the symbol of PURE I.M.A.G.E.S. Inc. illustrates growth, change, strength, and determination. When one looks at the life of a “butterfly”, we see that it was at first a caterpillar and through metamorphosis (which is a painful transition) it becomes something beautiful, independent, vibrant, and full of life.
One of the main objectives of PURE I.M.A.G.E.S. Inc. is to inform girls that life will not always bring you happiness. That despite what occurs in life; you are equipped with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions. You can also rise above negativity and blossom into womanhood with full control of your destiny.
The GOALS for PURE I.M.AG.E.S. Inc. is to:
Provide holistic services onsite to the girls and families that enter the program
(case management, mentoring, parenting, community service, etc.)
Assist girls with recognizing that no matter what life brings, you can become successful and independent.
Strengthen the relationships with girls and their mothers and/or fathers by providing supportive and nurturing opportunities for both participants.
Provide assistance and support to mothers and fathers by providing workshops, conferences, etc.
Allow the girls exposure to various career opportunities and establishing relationships with career-oriented women by way of a mentor.
Expose the girls to other vulnerable populations by giving them opportunities to work with those populations through community service projects.

PURE I.M.A.G.E.S. inc. History
The conception of PURE I.M.A.G.E.S. Inc. began in the Fall of 2000 by Executive Director/Founder Stacy Rodgers who wanted to create a program for young girls that would foster self growth, self worth and self esteem.
The program ran successfully for a little over a year however; due to creative differences the program seized.
Then in 2010, PURE I.M.A.G.E.S. Inc. resurfaced and revamped itself. Each program that PURE I.M.A.G.E.S. Inc. offers has been in reference to a need that Stacy has encountered during her years working with young girls, women, and children. The revision also included two key elements in ensuring that young girls thrived. The two elements were creating programs that foster a collaborative relationship with the parents AND the community.
Stacy's goal is to esnure that PURE I.M.A.G.E.S. Inc. remains female specific in regards to focusing on young girls and women BUT ALSO remain female responsive in terms of appropriately responding to the needs of girls based on what we know developmentally about young girls and the external forces that young girls encounter. She has involved women who understand the development and challenges faced by young girls today. These women want to make a difference not only in their communities but also to the young ladies and families of the 21st centuries.
