PURE I.M.A.G.E.S. Inc. is a NJ non profit (pending 501 c3) social development organization that provides female specific and female responsive programs to elementary through high school girls in the Northern NJ areas. Our acronym I.M.A.G.E.S. stands for Intelligent, Mature, Aspiring, Gifted, Educated Systas

Inc. is a NJ non profit (pending 501 c3) social development organization that provides female specific and female responsive programs to elementary through high school girls in the Northern NJ areas. Our female responsive curriculum includes mentoring, community service, and leadership opportunities in conjunction with instilling a sense of commitment, responsibility and possibility. It is also designed to enhance the relational bond between young girls and their parents/caregivers as well as provide best practices for community service providers and educational institutions serving young girls.
The program forms partnerships with local school districts, state agencies (DYFS), youth mentoring organizations, social service agencies and the juvenile court system.
PURE I.M.A.G.E.S. Inc. goal is to foster a commitment to young girls that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and reassert a sense of hope in their future. The mission will be promised by PURE I.M.A.G.E.S. Inc. pledge to Educate, Enlighten, Encourage and Empower young girls to grow and become independent women in collaboration with their families and community.
Through repeated failures in the classroom, at home and the development of destructive habits, at-risk young girls have lost faith in the possibilities that await them if they are successful in putting their lives together. To accomplish these goals, our young girls must be in a caring, inclusive learning environment that promotes their best effort and reinforces personal self respect.
PURE I.M.A.G.E.S Inc. is a program that is in direct response to the growing number of young girls that are either falling through the cracks at school, home or are already entangled with the juvenile court system. The goal of the program is to identify girls who are going to have a turbulent transition to adulthood and offer positive mentoring systems to avoid the pitfalls that can derail their lives. The focus is slightly different at each level but the goal remains the same; provide holistic services onsite, assist and help them recognize that no matter what life brings, you can become a successful and independent woman.
PURE I.M.A.G.E.S. Inc. will focus primarily on elementary through high school girls (9-17 years old). It is projected that within three years, 50% of the system's students will be in middle school. This age group is particularly problematic and a perfect time for mentoring to be effective.
